DOWNLOAD GUIDE

The built-in PDF viewer introduced in later versions of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Apple Safari does not support XFA-enabled PDF documents.  As the transaction and account balance information in our monthly billing statements are rendered via XML (an XFA feature), you must use Adobe Reader to view your statements and 1098-T tax forms.

Perform the following steps to configure Firefox, Chrome, and Safari to open PDFs using Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat.

First, ensure that you have Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat installed on your machine.
Get Adobe Reader:  https://get.adobe.com/reader/

Configure Google Chrome

  1. Open Menu and click Settings
  2. Under Privacy and Security, click Site Settings
  3. Click Additional Content Settings (bottom of page)
  4. Then click PDF documents (near bottom)
  5. Toggle ON “Download PDF files instead of automatically opening them in Chrome”

If using Chrome on a MAC OS, complete the "Configure Safari" steps below in addition to the above.

Configure Mozilla Firefox

  1. Open Menu and click Options
  2. Click the Applications tab
  3. Locate Content Type “Portable Document Format (PDF)”
  4. Change the Action dropdown to “Use Adobe Reader|Acrobat (default)”

Configure Safari

Safari inherits PDF handler from Mac OS:

  1. In the Finder, select a PDF file already saved to your computer.
  2. Click File, then Get Info (or Get Summary Info)
  3. Expand Open with:, then select the Adobe Reader or Acrobat version installed.
  4. Then, click the Change All… button, and Continue.
