Important Dates

2026 – 2027 Billing Calendar

Bills are produced monthly, on the closest business day on or before the 15th day of each month.

FALL 2026:  First semester bill July 15, 2026. Payment is due August 14, 2026.

SPRING 2027:  First semester bill December 15, 2026. Payment is due January 15, 2027.

SUMMER 2027:  First semester bill April 15, 2027. Payment is due May 14, 2027.
 

Fall 2026

• By April 15, 2026 - Fall 2026 5-Month Tulane Installment Prepayment Plans enrollment opens. 
   
• July 1 - 15 - Tuition, fees, housing, board, insurance premium (opt-out required), and financial aid will be added for most students in early July. These items will be included in a July billing statement, with a due date of August 14. 
   
• August 14 - Fall semester payment is due in full by 4:00 p.m. on this date
  Check, cash & wire payments must be received by Tulane no later than 4:00 p.m. Central Time on the due date.  Electronic check and credit card payments via the student accounts portal will be accepted up to 9:00 p.m. Central Time on the due date. Students participating in a TIPP payment plan should continue with their contracted payments through September 15.
  
  ATTENTION 529 PLAN PAYERS: It is your responsibility to submit your payment request early enough to ensure that your plan administrator delivers payment to Tulane University by our due date.
   
• August 15 - Last date to waive enrollment in the Tulane-sponsored student health insurance plan. The insurance enrollment/waiver procedure is required of all degree-seeking students, annually. Premiums are non-refundable after the waiver deadline date. For those eligible to waive this premium, please avoid unnecessary expense by completing the waiver process promptly. The waiver form opens in late June
   
• August 28 - Newcomb-Tulane College: last day to register/add or drop a course with a 100% tuition and fee refund.
  Please review the Fall 2025 Academic Calendar for a complete listing of drop-deadline dates by program.  Fees are not refunded at any percentage after this date.
   
• September 15 - Your August statement balance is due
  Any Fall 2026 billed amounts remaining unpaid on September 15 will be considered past due and subject to a FINANCE CHARGE and record holds. 
  
  TIPP Participants: Your final Fall 2026 payment is due September 15, including any billed amounts not included in your installment budget. Any billed amounts remaining unpaid on September 15 will be considered past due and subject to a FINANCE CHARGE.

Spring 2027 (Preliminary)

• November 3 - Priority Registration roll-in for Spring 2026 begins. 
   
• December 1 - 15 - Spring 2025 tuition and fees will be assessed to all registered students. New charges, credits, and balances will be billed on December 15, with a January 15, 2027, payment due date.
   
• December 24 - January 4, 2026 - Tulane University & Student Accounts Receivable are closed for winter recess.  If you wish to make a payment before the end of this calendar year, please plan accordingly. 
   
• January 15 - Spring semester payment is due in full by 4:00 p.m. on this date
  Check, cash & wire payments must be received by Tulane no later than 4:00 p.m. Central Time on the due date.  Electronic check and credit card payments via the student accounts portal will be accepted up to 9:00 p.m. Central Time on the due date. Students participating in a TIPP payment plan should continue with their contracted payments through February 15.

  TIPP participants: Your final Spring 2027 payment is due. Your student account billed balance must be $0.00 by this due date.  Please check your account details for any charges that you may not have accounted for when you used the plan amount worksheet to enroll in your payment plan. 
   
• March 15 - February 13 statement balance is due.
