2023 – 2024 Billing Calendar

Bills are produced monthly, on the closest business day on or before the 15 day of each month.

* First bill of the Fall 2023 term. Payment is due August 15, 2023.
** First bill of the Spring 2024 term. Payment is due January 12, 2024.
*** First bill of the Summer 2024 term. Payment is due May 15, 2024.

Fall 2023

• July 1 - 15 - Tuition, fees, housing, board, insurance premium charges, and financial aid will be added in early July for most students. These items will be included in a July billing statement, with a due date of August 15. 
   
• August 15 - Fall term payment due date
  Check, cash & wire payments must be received by Tulane no later than 4:00 p.m. central time on due date to ensure timely posting.  Electronic check and credit card payments via student accounts portal will be accepted up to 9:00 p.m. central time on due date. Students participating in a TIPP payment plan should continue with their contracted payments through September 15, 2023.
   
• August 15 - Last date to waive enrollment in the Tulane-sponsored student health insurance plan. The insurance enrollment/waiver procedure is required of all degree-seeking students, annually.
  Premiums are non-refundable after the waiver deadline date. For those eligible to waive this premium, please avoid unnecessary expense by completing the waiver process as soon as possible. The waiver form opens in late June
   
• September 1 - Last date to register/add, or drop a course with 100% tuition and fee refund.
  Please review the Fall 2023 Academic Calendar for a complete listing of drop-deadline dates.  Fees are not refunded at any percentage after this date.
   
• September 15 - Your August statement balance is due
  Any Fall 2023 billed amounts remaining unpaid on September 15 will be considered past due and subject to a FINANCE CHARGE and record holds. 

  TIPP Participants: Your final Fall 2023 payment is due September 15, including any billed amounts that were not considered in your installment budget. Any billed amounts remaining unpaid on September 15 will be considered past due and subject to a FINANCE CHARGE.

Spring 2024

• November 6 - Priority Registration roll-in for Spring 2024 begins.
   
• December 1 - 15 - Spring 2023 tuition and fees will be assessed to all registered students. New charges, credits, and balances will be billed on December 15, with a January 12, 2024 payment due date.
   
• December 25 - January 2, 2024 - Tulane University is closed for winter recess
• January 12 - Spring term due date
  Payments must be received by Tulane no later than 4:00 p.m. central to ensure timely posting.  Electronic payments via student accounts portal will be accepted up to 9:00 p.m. central time. Students participating in the TIPP payment plans should continue with their contracted payments through February 15, 2023.
   
• January 15 - Last date to waive Spring-only enrollment in Tulane's sponsored health insurance plan.
• January 31 - 2023 1098-T Tax Form will be mailed by this date to qualifying students. 
• February 15 - January 12 statement balance is due. 
  TIPP participants: Your final Spring 2024 payment is due.
   
• March 15 - February 15 statement balance is due.
   
• April 10 - Priority registration roll in begins for Fall 2024.  Your account balance due must be paid in full to participate in priority registration.
